Hey future friend!

Sometimes when I do a new thing I feel worried.

If therapy is new to you here is what the first time will be like:

  • Before you meet me your parents will tell me a little bit about you.

  • Your parents will make an appointment and you will come to my office and wait in the waiting room.

  • I will come out to the waiting room and bring you to my office where you can sit on the couch.

  • You can come into the office to talk to me together with a parent or you can talk to me on your own.

  • I will ask you some questions about yourself, what you like, what is hard for you, and what you want to get better in your life.

  • I have fidgets, games, toys, and art supplies in my office that we can use.

  • Nothing scary happens, we just chat.

  • We all will decide if we should keep seeing each other.
